MTV ROADIES 8 RAGHU IS BACK...
MTV ROADIES 8 is back with the soul of Roadies, you know what I mean...
RAGHU RAM IS BACK...
Roadies 7 - Can Nikhil & Cyrus Replace Raghu & Rajiv
Roadies 7 auditions are over, within some time that will aired on MTV.So,what are you expecting?
and ya you will see a change this time, the two shiny bald heads will be missing this time around in the auditions.Nikhil and cyrus are gonna takeover from them.
What do you think can they fill the place of the deadly combo Raghu and Rajiv?
In my views i don't think so,you can imagine the show without Raghu, also he was missing most of the time in RHDU but i think his absence gonna make a lot of effect on the AUDITIONS.
No one can replace him,but we have to wait and watch for the auditions to be aired so that we can see how things go this tme around.
Burt what are you expecting from them?
MTV Roadies 7 Sans Raghu Ram ?
For six years, Raghu Ram has endeared himself to the audiences with his rude and humiliating comments on MTV's reality adventure series 'Roadies', but it appears that the brain behind the show, might no longer be a part of its forthcoming season.
'Raghu has been with the show for many years. People know the kind of reactions to expect from him but this time he is not really a part of the show. In fact, having said that, we haven't yet revealed who will be interviewing the contestants. There's a huge surprise lying there... So you never know. It will blow your mind,' MTV general manager Ashish Patil told IANS at the launch of the seventh season of the show here Saturday.
The event featured host Rannvijay Singh, VJ Bani, creative director Vivek Bhushan alias Bumpy and Bollywood actor Irrfan Khan - but not Raghu.
Asked about his absence from the event, as well as from the promotional clips of the show, Patil said: 'Raghu isn't really a part of the show this time. With every season, we try and do something different and surprise the audience, so this is just a part of it'.
Till now, Raghu was known to be the creator of the show and so an integral part of it as well. In the last season, he had joined hands with his identical twin brother Rajiv Laxman to give double trouble to contestants, but had gradually chosen to reduce his presence on the show.
However, it seems now, that he has completely withdrawn from it.
But then, this should not come as a surprise as Raghu had hinted during the sixth season that he might no longer be at the helm of affairs.
Said Patil: 'There was one season where we had Gulshan Grover as the bad man, then we had Raghu Ram introduced in the interview rounds, then Raghu and Rajiv. So its just that now we are going to come up with something different and unpredictable.'
Entering its seventh year, 'Roadies' has not only proved to be one of the most popular annually-held shows on Indian television, but also the longest running reality show. This time, the 'Roadies' journey will kick start from the barren lands of Bhuj in Gujarat and will continue to Egypt, Kenya and Tanzania in Africa.
The show will be at its 'deadliest and wildest ever' as hopeful contestants will have to pass through a seven round audition process, which will begin online through www.mtvindia.com/roadies.
Irrfan Khan will be seen as a menace to contestants as he will throw open seven twists based on the seven sins - lust, gluttony, greed, sloth, wrath, envy and pride - during the show.
'I'm going to be there to spoil their lives,' he said.
The show will go on air in September.
Raghu & Rajiv Played Game With Kiri
Dont you think guys Raghu and Rajiv played mind game with Kiri. Kiri Palak ko safe kar hi leta if Raghu and Rajiv uske sath respect wali mind game na khelte.
And they played this game because... wo jante the Palak and Kiri ka task hota to final ki waat lag jati. Kiri without any hard effort winner ho jata. So they give lecture on respect and kiri par emotional attyachaar karke Nauman ko select karva liya.
I'm not saying Nauman is not good roadie, he is my favorite but Kiri can win task easily by selecting palak aur agar yeh hota to GRAND FINALE ki excitement aur thrill wahin par khatam ho jaata.
And I'm sure ki Nauman deserve the title of MTV Roadies 6 - Hell Down Under. Nauman Rockss...
Baap Of Popularity Raghu Ram
REALITY SHOW STAR: RAGHU RAM
Here's a lesson for all those who think that women rule the small screen. At 49 per cent Raghu Ram from Roadies won the poll hands down. Raghu beat Shilpa Shetty, Rakhi Sawant, Rahul Mahajan, Jade Goody and Sambhavna Seth in the most favourite Reality Show Star.

Raghu : Everything Is Part Of A Plan
Sufi's vote out was a shocker ! No one saw it coming, not even the roadies. Palak had been unanimously voted out. But after a twist, she not only got to decide who went out.
My mother called me up as soon as the episode was over and gave me quite an earful about how she was disgusted by the show and by me, for letting the most "undeserving" roadie stay and making the most "deserving" roadie leave ! I wanted to tell you guys, that this might just be a part of the plan and may lead up to a mind-blowing finale, but I didn't.
I don't think I can be blamed for what happened. The roadies brought this upon themselves. The envelope that was sent to their room was a test to see it they could contain their couriosity. The envelope carried an ominous warning: "OPEN AT YOUR OWN RISK". They should have let it be. But instead, they all decided to open it and face the risk. Ironically, it was Sufi's idea and Palak opposed it ! When the envelope was opened, it clearly warned them that there would be a twist at the vote out. They did not heed the warning, and went about the vote out as they would have ordinarily. Had they not gone out of their way to invoke the risk by opening the envelope in spite of being warned not to, there would have been no such twist at vote out and Palak would have left.
The journey is drawing to an end. In this Sunday's episode, the final 3 roadies will emerge. Palak wants all 3 to be girls, and will be seen plotting against Nauman, who himself wants Palak out at any cost. He's still hurting by the way she survived the previous vote out and his friend Sufi left instead.
This episode also has the last money task of the season, where Rannvijay give the roadies Rs 2,40,000 for just showing up for the task ! But then, they have to take on professional ice hockey strikers to keep the money,
The immunity task will have the roadies feeling like calves, running helter skelter while cowboys and rodeo champs hunt them down with lassos on horseback. And get ready for yet another killer twist in the vote out ! As the journey draws to an end, you can bet the game will get almost unbearably intense !

Sufi Reaches Rannvijay's Heights
Sufi reaches Rannvijay's heights
As we all are seeing how Sufi performs each n every task.....he has impressed raghu!!!.......in an interview about MTV Roadies 7 Devil's Cave, whose auditions will begin in July 2009.
Raghu said that Sufi is the only guy after Rannvijay who impressed him with performing tasks. He also said that after 5 long years he is seeing a true roadie and he will surely work with Sufi in upcoming shows.
Maybe Sufi also becomes a VJ!!!!
Raghu Ram In Music Reality Show
After starting with a slate of 5 shows, the new Hindi entertainment channel REAL announced two new shows – Sitaron Ko Choona Hai and Ninja Pandav .
Sitaron Ko Choona Hai, will start from March 9th and will air every Monday to Thursday at 8 pm. An indigenously developed reality show based in a music academy, the show will create singing sensations out of untapped talent. Twelve young and talented singers follow a harsh daily regimen under the strict tutelage of a disciplinarian Head of the Academy. The head of the Academy is the blunt and straight forward Raghu Ram of the MTV Roadies fame. To help them on this journey, the Head brings a faculty that helps them in their journey to become Stars. Accompanying Raghu are singer and performer, Neha Bhasin of the Viva fame and voice coach Prashant Samadhar. Together, the trio will guide the 12 hopefuls in realizing their full potential at the academy.
Says Raghu Ram, “ Sitaron Ko Choona Hai is about real people, real emotions and a real metamorphosis that leads to a magnificent musical extravaganza where all the contestants will showcase their talent to the nation. It’s an opportunity of a lifetime for most contestants.”
Decency Or Har roadie Akela Hai
These are the 2 statements that always work for Roadies people. These are complimentary actually.
Take for example the coffin task done by brats.
Raghu said to the rest of the brats that they dint had any decency when they were forcing bobby in the coffin. Well, what about his punch line "har roadie akela hai". Ab kisi ko to coffin mein daalna hi hai na, task hi aisa diya hai. Roadies ab decency dekhen yaa task perform karein.
And imagine if Brats had shown that decency and either of them had entered the coffin bcoz of decency, then again Raghu and Rajiv would have fucked them as they did to dev. They would have said "tu jeetne aaya hai yaa team banane".
So, bottom line is roadies are born 2 be insulted by Raghu-Rajiv and nothing else.
WHAT SAY GUYS...

Roadies Auditions: Raghu's Mantra
Just wanted to wish all of you all the best. Remember the Roadies Rule # 1: BE YOURSELF. Do not push yourself too hard. And at the same time, do not play the meek kid on the block as well. Be firm. Be clear. Speak in Hindi, but do not try shuddha Hindi, please. Do not try becoming more MTV than MTV itself. And do not say "Yo MTV" EVER! Dress right. Again, do not play the rapper and at the same time, do not look like someone who has come for a bank interview.
Since I belong to this, it would be a shame if none of the guys make it to the final 20. I am pinning all my hopes on you guys. So do not let me down. On my part, let me play favorites here and share with you a singular tip that may really help. Do ensure that the judge who is taking your GD takes out one particular aspect of your personality. When we sit in a room full of people, we typically write small notes on their personality types. You could be the "sweet, homely girl" or the "irritating cocky bastard" or the "nerdish book worm" or the "eternal good guy" or the "country bumpkin" or the "rich urban bitch" or the "tharki small towner" or the "sex fatakadi" or the "arrogant sonofabitch"... you get the drift, right? Make it a point to convey what you are. Again, do not try too hard. But keep this at the back of your mind. I promise you it would help.
It would help you in distinguishing yourself from the rest of the people. It would help us in zeroing down on you in case your personality type matches or clashes with anybody else in our list. Think about it when you are in the GD. At the risk of getting repetitive, will say it again: Do not try too hard. We are smart enough to know if and when you do that.
I may get to see some of you during the auditions. Sounds like fun already.
Raghu To Judge Roadies With Twin Brother Rajiv
Season six of MTV Roadies promises many more twists, and twice as much of Raghu Ram as well
If you found one Raghu Ram a bit hard to take on MTV’s Roadies, there’s some bad news in store. On the sixth season of the dramatic adventure reality show Raghu’s identical twin Rajeev Laxman will join him to create even more hell for the contestants. “Every year we take the show to another level. This time we have upped the stakes even further,” smiles Raghu, the irreverent boss of the Roadies, and Associate VP, MTV shows. With the number of roadies increased to 20 and the prize money doubled to Rs 10 lakhs, contestants are in for hell Down Under with difficult tasks on the deadly terrains of Austalia and biting observations and sheer wrath from the Raghu-Rajeev duo.
Rajeev— who has been part of the casting process of the Roadies for the last four years— agreed to even turn bald for the show on Raghu’s insistence. Hard to tell the two apart, Rajeev will now be introduced to the viewers for the first time. “Roadies is not just about the money. It’s a badge that makes people discover a side to them that they didn’t even know of,” adds Rajeev, who appears to be almost as aggressive as his twin. “Actually I’m more violent and Raghu is more aggressive,” smiles Rajeev wickedly. “But we use these characteristics only to push the buttons of the contestants to get their reaction.”
But what really prompted them to bring the twist of the twins? “Over the past years people have started observing my behavioral pattern. So essentially, now with both of us appearing on the show, the contestants will not know who they are dealing with,” adds Raghu with a smile.
While it’s the curses and abuses by Raghu that have made contestants quake with fear and seethe in anger in the past, some of the past roadies have overcome it all and even found alternative careers in the course of it. While Rannvijay, Bani J and Ayushmann all became VJs on the channel, others like Ashutosh Kaushik went on to participate in Big Boss and Shambhavi Sharma has been roped in for a Suniel Shetty movie.
However, MTV Roadies— the only Indian format to be licensed abroad by the ARY Pakistan— will journey through every place from Great Barrier Reef to the Great Outback this year. “It’s a scientific fact that there are more ways of dying of natural causes in Australia than anywhere else in the world,” quips Ashish Patil, GM, MTV India. While their parameters to zero in on the tasks include dangerous topography, Patil agrees imbibing the local culture is as important. While there might be the Roadies Cheat Code DVD available in the market to crack the auditions, Raghu still warns, “Fakes not allowed. I don’t like people who plan. You need to be real and we’ll take it from there.”
If you thought it was Raghu walking in to twist things at Splitsvilla, MTV’s reality show about love, here’s a trivia —it was Rajeev. Expect the unexpected.
