MTV Roadies 6 - Episode 5 - 7 February Story Summary


Notable difference in the episode this time, that with Palak not being there. Wonderful it is, how one less person on the show can make it much much more watchable.

Money Task
Ok, so on the task itself - Roop was the weak link in her team. Her puking eventually led to Bobby making a run to the toilet stall. I thought the fart sound effects throughout this segment was the lowest form of humor.. but oh well, it was a task based entirely on farts and shit, so there. Om Blues win 50000. Good on ya, guys' bowels!

Immunity Task
The matka balance while doing an extremely gay dance task. Okay, no dance but it was still tough as hell to walk with that on your head. Give it up for Paulami, for knocking out Bobby fair and square and kicking her ass in both rounds. The girl is obnoxious and bizzare but funny in parts. Walking on glass.. ouch! Third round kya tha? Flaming coal walk?

TWIST!!
The loser team (+Paulami) get immunity which well.. is neither fair nor unfair. So there.

Vote-Out
Rannvijay is trying too hard to lagao aag between team members.. watch it again and notice his insistence for the Roadies to take names and an overtly sarcastic tone, in general.

Nauman gets voted out (unexpectedly?) and then suddenly the channel flipped and a love story soap started playing... o wait.. no it didn't, this was still Roadies. The heavy emotional goodbye, the farewell note, the intercuts, the awwww-bits, the background score all put in there to make it look like a scene straight outta a YRF flick. Meh! Theek hai yaar! Sabko pata hai wapis aayega - sneak peak mein dekh hi rakha hai.

Behind the Scenes
Always the best and funniest part of the show. From Chhotu's reactions to food being served, to Debbie in black, to the crew's misery while shooting in a stinky room, to Debbie in yellow, to RV's prank, to Debbie in a jacket and shawl - there are times when I wait for the episode to end jus for BTS to begin.

Next Week: Water pool-o, Koffee with RV, haunted house... and.. RAGHU! (Or was that Rajeev?)

    I felt very sad that Nauman was out. Dev is a horrible friend and stupid too. Nauman seemed like a good person.

    Its The Call band from Pakistan - the song name is Kaash, nice song, very appropriately used in this episode, feeling sad for tamanna, she's now gonna be cornered and targeted, poor girl

    This weeks Vote out was a real surprise and bit of a shocker, never expected it from Dev, but yeah he's kinda stupid, hope he knows the reason well, for nominating Nauman out.
    Paulaumi, wo, again unexpected, but all in all good episode.
    seriously behind the scenes was much better and interesting most times.
    And m eagerly waiting for the next, was missing out Raghu on the scenes, well it cud even be Rajiv. lets see..

    The editing and screenplay was too good....thats when nauman leaves and tamana cries....such a beauty...hats off for the one who chose the song (kaash) and for the one who edited/screen played
    it....beauty beauty!!!
    Even though its a reality show...the particular scene of separation felt like a beautiful love story..
